From Payton regarding the October trip to Kenya: "We will partner with I Can Fly International (ICFI) which strives to rescue vulnerable girls and boys at the most crucial stage in their development. ICFI houses through their rescue center has helped hundreds of girls who have undergone extreme poverty, neglect and human rights violations, tribal wars and sexual abuse of many forms. We will be working primarily with the 10th and 11th grade girls and provide support in numerous ways including enriching activities, emotional and spiritual support, and special care. I am especially looking forward to this trip, as I am in the Victory Missions Apprentice Program - a program that trains participants how to lead mission trips at Victory Church!"
